AFSI TFOCA-II® TAC-4 4-Channel Plug Fiber Optic Connector - 0.190" to 0.239" Cable

FS4B1000-H-1

Amphenol Fiber Systems International TFOCA II 4 Channel Plug for .190" to .239" Cable Diameter. (Requires Termini Sold Separately)
Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) designed its patented TFOCA-II® connectors to withstand the most extreme battlefield environments. At the core of the TFOCA-II® family is the sealed, free-floating termini, which allows axial and orbital movement during mating to minimize insertion loss and back reflection while maintaining a robust seal against moisture and humidity.

Chosen by the U.S. Army WIN-T program as the standard “next-generation” fiber optic connector for tactical networks, the TFOCA-II® has also become the baseline for DSCC’s MIL-DTL-83526/16 and /17 connector specifications.

Features:
  • Hermaphroditic Design – Allows plug-to-plug connectivity and easy daisy-chaining in the field.
  • Removable End Cap – Enables simple field cleaning and maintenance.
  • 4-Channel Configuration – Doubles the channel count of traditional TFOCA connectors with improved optical performance.
  • Enhanced Cable Retention – Supports up to 400 lbs. of pull strength while minimizing fiber stress.
  • Zn-Ni Plating – Extends durability in corrosive environments.
  • Commercial Ceramic Ferrule Technology – Supports multimode and single mode with SPC and UPC polish options.
  • Solid Core Alignment Sleeves – Provide greater durability than split sleeves.
  • Hermaphroditic Dust Cap – Interlocks plug and receptacle caps to prevent contamination during deployment.
  • Optional Keying – Offers four key positions (1, 2, 3, universal) for controlled mating configurations.
Applications:
  • Tactical military deployments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps)
  • Oil, gas, and geoscience exploration
  • Mining operations
  • Industrial environments
  • Broadcast and media networks
Specifications:
